We are sure you have already had a taste of Kodi 17.1 (Krypton) if you love binging. Krypton is their latest release which you can install from Google Play Store. However, Kodi is already talking about the next version, and is reportedly going to name it Leia in honor of one of the most iconic princesses this world has ever seen, Carrie Fisher. Kodi which was formerly developed as an Xbox console is frequently cited as one of the best platforms to stream media.

It is just one of the special movie where everybody has knowledge that where they were when the movie was out or even also it can not be remembered at a time without Luke, Leia and few more droids without there adventure and by this way it became more amazing movie.
It hurted us most when we heard that we lost a great lady and actress and with her that awesome character which she portrayed. After her death it feels fitting to announce that kodi 18 will be named as Leia as a tribute to one of the character that defines an industry and also celebration of the team of whole Star Wars universe.

Well of course you should choose Krypton over the nightly builds of Leia as that is official released version of Kodi that one I supposed to be using. Leia will take some time to come together and right now, many things and features are messed up, which are being worked on and improved by the Kodi team. You can obviously experiment with Leia but using it full time is a big no no.
Looks of Kodi 18 Leia
The new version as far as its nightly builds are concerned looks the same as Kodi 17. You may note that the skin was updated when Kodi released its latest 17 version, where Kodi 16 had the skin called Confluence, the new one is named Estuary, which looks modern. We can not guess whether or not Leia will have a skin change or update, however you are always free to change the skin as per your convenience and choice.
