Editor’s Note
If you plan on streaming content via any of the Kodi addons we recommend using a VPN. A VPN will anonymize your online activity, protect you from spying ISPs, and allow you access to geo-blocked add-ons and content.
We personally use IPVanish VPN and highly recommend it. You can sign up for IPVanish VPN here or if you want to know more about why to use a VPN with Kodi click here
Note: If you are using an older firmware or using a different device model Home Screen might differ but the procedure is the same.
-> Start your box normally and go into settings
-> Choose the Other tab and go into More Settings
(If you are using an older firmware you might not see the More Settings screen instead directly the next steps)
-> Go into Apps, once your inside Apps, scroll down to Kodi and hit OK
-> Click on Force Stop and clear Data this will also automatically clear the Cache
-> Once that is done you can go back to the Home Screen by pressing Home Button on remote and click on Kodi (XBMC if you are using XBMC)
-> Now to reload the Wookie wizard (as i was using wookie wizard so i will reload it)
-> In order to reload the Wookie wizard we need to go onto the Main Screen and go into System
-> Click on Add-ons from the list, Now click on Install from zip file
-> Once we click on Install from zip file its going to show you a list in the drop down menu
-> Scroll to .Wookie wizard and hit OK
-> Now your going to see Click me option, select it and click OK
-> In a bit, you will see a notification on the bottom right-hand side saying Wookie Add-on is enabled
-> Now we will go back in the main menu of Kodi and select VIDEOS option and click on Add-ons
-> We will select Wookie and if asked we will use our username and password i.e. free and 1234 respectively
-> Once that is done click On Install Wookie then Slect Wookie Lite and hit the red Install Button in the middle of the screen.
-> Now its downloading the Wookie Lite pack
-> Once the process completes wookie lite has been installed on Kodi
-> Re-start your box
-> Go into Kodi and everything will work normally now.
Please remember next time when your done watching a video or a show on XBMC exit it properly using the blue power button on the bottom left-hand side of the screen as the main thing which causes blank screen is not quitting the Kodi app properly.
